Certification – Excellence Program

If you don’t hold a valid certification but have comparable experience from your professional background, you may still be eligible to join the Excellence Program.

The new certificate is valid for three years. Recertification does not require another exam.
All you need to do: Collect a total of 24 credits within three years by participating in webinars or workshops.

We align with the following standards:

ISO 13053-1: DMAIC methodology
ISO 13053-2: Tools and techniques
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024:  Certification of persons
ISO 18404: Competencies of key personnel

Recertification

If you hold a valid, internationally recognized certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17024, and its expiration date is less than three years ago, you can easily apply for a new certificate — provided you have collected 24 credits during that time by attending our free webinars or online workshops.

This allows you to remain part of our community and continue enjoying all its benefits. No additional exam is required.

Participants will dive deeper into the Shingo Model™ by focusing on the principles identified in the “Enterprise Alignment” dimension. To be successful, organizations must develop management systems that align behavior with principles. This alignment should be simple, comprehensive, actionable, and standardized. This two- or three-day workshop at a host company delves into the principles of continuous improvement. Building on the experiences from the DISCOVER EXCELLENCE workshop, you will learn five leadership principles and be empowered to clearly define value from your customers’ perspective. This workshop is particularly suitable for employees in the areas of Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean Management, and Six Sigma, as well as project managers and/or leaders. The group will continue discussions on ideal behaviors, purpose, and behavioral benchmarks. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Shingo Model™ by focusing on the “Continuous Improvement” dimension and its identified principles.

The CULTURAL ENABLERS workshop helps you define ideal behaviors and the systems that drive these behaviors using behavior benchmarks.

We begin by explaining why all work in an organization is the result of a system and how systems must be designed to achieve a specific goal. Otherwise, systems will develop on their own.
