As a licensed Shingo partner, we offer workshops to help you understand the Shingo Model™ and its leadership principles. You’ll gain insights into ideal behaviors and how applying Shingo principles leads to sustainable, long-term results. Companies pursuing the Shingo Prize are highly respected in the Lean world. With the Shingo Model, you embark on a transformative journey.
Are you ready to create real change and foster a culture of continuous improvement? These 2-3 day modules, conducted over two years, include multiple Gemba walks that reveal knowledge gaps in your systems. You’ll address these gaps step by step, with our support. Systems, principles, and tools shape your company’s behavior culture, which ultimately drives your results.
Along with training on the Shingo Model™, several Gemba walks are conducted. Most participants come from different industries and are leaders or Lean experts, offering valuable external insights for your organization. Two members of your company can attend the workshop free of charge. We will compile and provide the workshop results to the host company at no cost.
You'll need to provide a seminar room for 15 to 30 participants. If your company lacks this space, we can arrange an external venue. On one day, participants will conduct 2-3 Gemba walks, each lasting about 30 minutes. A company guide should accompany the groups to the designated areas, ensuring no external participant moves around the premises unsupervised, even briefly.
The workshops focus on analyzing behavior patterns, not technologies or processes. You can decide in advance which areas of your company will be shown and who participants may speak with. The names and roles of external participants will be shared with you beforehand, allowing you to make selections. Alternatively, you can opt for an exclusive workshop without external participants, though this would be at a cost. However, you can still include participants from other company locations.
Shingo workshops are in high demand, with limited spots available. Each module is led by two Shingo trainers, in German/English or bilingually. Workshop dates are announced globally. For open workshops, we need around 4-6 weeks of lead time for promotion. For closed workshops, 2-3 weeks are required for internal planning.
